Unionville Alliance Church is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Car Boot (Yard) Sale and Electronic Waste Drive on October 26th. This event is part of our fundraising efforts to support our Missions Team.

Car Boot (Yard) Sale

Need to declutter? Bring your goods or used/pre-loved items and sell them out of your car trunk! The Car Boot Sale will be set up in the Lower-Level Parking Lot of Unionville Alliance Church facing 16th Avenue on Saturday October 26 from 1 - 4 pm.


Items commonly found include:

  • Clothing – clothes, shoes, and accessories like scarves, hats, or bags.
  • Books – Novels, children’s books, cookbooks, and even textbooks.
  • Household Goods – Kitchenware, small appliances, decor items, and home essentials.
  • Toys and Games – Board games, action figures, puzzles, and other children’s toys.
  • Vintage or Antique Items – Furniture, collectibles, and unique trinkets.
  • Jewelry and Accessories – Handmade or vintage jewelry, watches, and belts.
  • Tools and DIY Equipment – Tools, garden equipment, and supplies.
  • Crafts and Handmade Items – Homemade crafts, art, or personalized products.


Anyone with something to sell can rent a parking spot for $25 (cash). You can bring your own table/awning to display your items, please take away all you bring. All proceeds from the entry fees collected by Unionville Alliance Church will go towards fundraising efforts for an upcoming July 2025 Missions Trip to Thailand.

What items are accepted?

List of Accepted EEE items (as per RPRA 2021)

  • Computers (Desktops, laptops, tablets)
  • Printers (desktop and floor-standing)
  • Printer cartridges
  • Video gaming devices
  • Telephones, including cellular phones
  • Display devices (TV’s, LCD and CRT monitors)
  • Radios and stereos, including after-market vehicle stereos
  • Headphones
  • Speakers
  • Cameras, including security cameras
  • Video recorders
  • Drones with audio or visual recording equipment
  • Peripherals and cables used to support the function of information technology, telecommunications and audio visual equipment, including charging equipment
  • Parts of information technology, telecommunications and audio visual equipment sold separately, such as hard drives
  • Handheld point-of-sale terminals or devices
  • Electronic musical instruments
  • Audio recording equipment

What items are not accepted?

  • ITT/AV Equipment weighing more than 250 kg
  • Small and large appliances
  • Power tools
  • Electric vehicles (scooters, e-bikes)
  • Children’s toys
  • Textiles, clothing, furniture or any other upholstered or stuffed articles containing EEE
