EXTENDING CHRISTMAS CHEER!
The UAC Hampers of Hope initiative in its 30th year in 2023 continued the tradition of sharing Christmas joy with families by offering a helping hand to neighbourhood families experiencing financial challenges. Since 1993, with the faithful leadership of Nancy W. and the support of many volunteers and donations from our congregation, corporate sponsors and other community groups, we united to bring the warmth and celebration of Christmas with families in the Markham, Stouffville, and Richmond Hill area, inviting them to join in the holiday festivities.
We're thankful for all those that enabled us to bless 220 families with Christmas cheer. Thank you for understanding that numbers were limited, and we do not have any Hampers remaining for new applications this year. Community Sponsors are still welcome to give monetary donations via our giving page and designated towards 'Community Care Fund' or 'Hampers of Hope' as the sub-fund.
You can come visit our next Master's Pantry for January on either January 7 or January 20, 2024.
